Pros and cons of Antidote Mobile - Dictionnaires & Guides app for iPhone and iPad

Antidote Mobile - Dictionnaires & Guides app good for

このapplicationは本当に凄い!!フランス語の辞書だけじゃなくて文法とか活用動詞とか、なんでも入ってる!注意:この辞書は全てがフランス語です。使いたいなら、フランス語の能力が必要!中級レベルで十分と思います! This application is excellent! It has so many features such as synonyms, collocations, antonyms, grammar explanations, etc... One thing, you should be pretty fluent in French if you really want to exploit its features since its all in French. This is the ultimate French language Bible!
It is in french... I screwed up and bought it... im sure its a great app... but just be Aware it is in french
This app is worth the price. Im a francophone. Very instructive.
Tough to follow a review like jumbos, but I will try to help those interested in this app. First off, it is a remarkable reference, both in scope and content, as well as having an elegant interface. Having just purchased the websters dictionary app, I was immediately struck by how much more bang for buck you get with this. A number of dictionaries are included to help disect words as only the French can do. These include conjugations, synonyms, usages, even a wildcard lookup dictionary for crossword puzzles. . In short, this contains what I purchased in 3 different English reference apps. There are also scores of available papers or articles on topics such as grammar, spelling, usage etc. This is a big app (88 megs), and frankly I would update your iphone software to 2.1 before installing. As an aside my iphone performs considerably better with this upgrade. There are some initial glitches such as screen size anomilies when changing between landscape and portrait. Im am confident the makers will respond with an appropriate upgrade. It hasnt crashed yet but I can tell Im using a Cadillac sized app--sufficiently responsive but vast. ***This is absolutely not for someone new or beginning to learn French. This is for serious students and users of the language, and is entirely in French.*** Update: after using for a week I am more and more impressed. It is pretty snappy for its size, but a little combersome to navigate because of all the reference choices (no big strike against however). For example, when you type an entry it doesnt go directly to the definition, but gives a number of reference choices, one of which is a definition (other choices are usage examples, conjugations, synonyms etc.). Dont listen to reviewers who say this doesnt work or whatever. They obviously mistook this app for something else. If you have at least an intermediate reading level and desire a comprehensive French reference, you will not regret this purchase.
I love this app. It is the most valuable French Dictionary - really almost more like an encyclopedia - I own. It is all in French but anyone serious about studying French from an intermediate level and above should be able to use it. For the price it is a bargain.
I have been longing for Le Robert to come out, and I found Antidote already came out! I love its contents and design, but wanna suggest several things. 1: Its gonna be MUCH better if we can check all the information on one page, like Le Robert. 2: I was surprised there was no etymology section! 3: Sometimes the small box on upper right in the definition page does not change when I CLICKED it, even after I searched another word. (it changes correctly in the small box, though) 4: Can your please make it faster? :) ps. I coudnt find this application when I searched with the word french.

Some bad moments
